This course is for qualified Micropigmentation technicians, looking to upgrade their qualification to a VTCT level 4 VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Micropigmentation.
Most local authorities require a regulated certificate for a technician to obtain a special treatment license, this then allows you to carry out Microblading or Micropigmentation to ensure safety and, quality of work and your training is a national certified standard.
Course Overview
The technician will be required to submit copies of your license and insurance, along with evidence of your previous SPMU work before we can enroll you in an Assessment Only program

Micropigmentation Conversion
Once approved all evidence will be uploaded to an online portfolio and you will then be registered with VTCT. Before your practical assessments, all learners must also achieve the VTCT (ITEC) Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention (COVID-19) for Beauty Therapy and Nail Services qualification.
You will be required to complete and submit the following before your practical sessions:
- Assignments
- 6 Case Studies
- Consultation sheets
- Feedback sheet
- Aftercare advice
Practical Assessment Day 1
- Brows – hair strokes and shading
- Lips – Liner and shading
- Eyes- Liner and pointillism
- Online Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention
Please note that you will be required to provide your models to work for your practical assessments unless you live a distance away from our center.
RE-REQUISITES
- You must hold level 3 beauty or above to be able to enroll in this course.
- You must hold a current Micropigmentation or Microblading qualification
- The VTCT L3 Anatomical and Physiological Knowledge of Body Systems
