Dermaplaning Course

Our 1 day intensive course will teach you the simple and safe procedure of using a fine scalpel at a 45-degree angle to exfoliate the epidermis and rid the skin of fine vellus hair, otherwise known as peach fuzz. During the course you will gain an understanding of the benefits of the treatment, as well as how to use the equipment and the full step-by-step procedure.

Overview

Students will receive a course manual which they can refer back to. The theory modules are learnt through distance learning with full support available. The course covers the consultation, contra-indications, procedure and aftercare needed to perform dermaplaning treatment.

The remaining module consists of a 1 day workshop of Q&A and practical training with demonstrations by the tutor. Trainees will be expected to carry out a dermaplaning treatment on each other or on a model with support and guidance from the tutor, followed by 3 case studies to be submitted online. Upon completion of the training you will receive a accredited certificate recognised by an insurance body.
