The Micropigmentation course is about using micropigmentation, a form of cosmetic tattooing to create make-up effects to enhance facial features. This training course is a government regulated qualification and will allow you to gain insurance and licences required to carry out treatments, covering everything you need to know to designing perfect brows, lips and eyeliner, providing a thorough consultation with the client to formulate a specific course of treatment, tailored to suit individual client needs.

COURSE STRUCTURE

The theory element of this training course will be delivered online prior to attendance for your practical sessions, this will also be recapped during the course and you will have access to discuss any queries with a tutor throughout the online learning process.

A 6-day course in which you’ll learn all aspects of brows lips and eyes in order to become a permanent make up practitioner. This includes procedures and Techniques:

Understanding machine, needles and pigments

Eyebrow procedures

Lip liner and blush procedures

Sanitising your environment

Personal hygiene

Clinical waste disposal

Colour theory

A&P

License and Insurance

Setting up business

Practical technique is taught throughout the first 4 days when you will initially practice on rubber skin before moving on to live models.

Day 1 – Intro to SPMU, brow & lip mapping and colour theory, equipment, consultation, patch testing and pre/aftercare. Mat work, including needle and speed testing, shading and lining

PRE-REQUISITES

You must hold a level 3 beauty or above related qualification prior to undertaking this course or Level 3 A&P

Duration: `6 Days (you will have a maximum of 12 weeks to complete case studies)
