The purpose of this qualification is to develop your practical skills to an advanced level, allowing you to gain extensive knowledge of both classic and contemporary bridal looks. You will be able to analyse the capability of your clients’ hair, with consideration for the style of dress to be worn to ensure the hair style complements the bride’s image.

The main outcomes of the qualification include:

• Salon health, safety & hygiene
• Plan and prepare for hair up services with clients
• Preparation of work station
• contra-indications that prevent or restrict hair up services
• Equipment/products
• Incorporate the use of ornamentation/accessories
• Be able to provide aftercare advice for clients
